Three-Stage Air Purification

The device recirculates the air in a room and operates in three steps. During the first step, floating dust particles are removed from the air using an M6 class filter. In the second step, microorganisms such as viruses that have passed the first step are eliminated using UV-C light. The final step uses a carbon filter to remove unpleasant odors and gases.

How UV-C Sterilization Works

UV-C radiation falls within the short-wavelength range of natural light. When properly applied, it acts as a safe and highly efficient disinfectant. The short wavelength ultraviolet radiation of 253.7 nm damages the DNA and RNA of microorganisms, rendering them unable to reproduce or infect. The effective action of UV-C light in inactivating the COVID-19 virus was recently demonstrated in a study by the University of Padova in Italy.
