SPV Overpressure Units
Autonomous Ventilation Cabinet for Gas Removal
Part description
What is an overpressure system?
SPV Overpressure Units are autonomous ventilation units equipped with molecular filters and particle filters for removing airborne and gaseous contaminants in enclosed spaces. The overpressure units are very easy to install and connect and come with coarse pre-filters, molecular filters, and ePM2.5 fine particle filters.
Applications of the overpressure unit
- Creating overpressure in enclosed spaces
- Creating overpressure combined with air recirculation in enclosed spaces
General specifications of the overpressure unit
- Aluminum modular framework
- Double-walled panels: stainless steel, aluminum, or galvanized steel
- 50mm stone wool insulation in each panel. Robust and heat insulating
- EC centrifugal fans with 2.5 – 4 kW electronically commutated motors
- These fans have the highest efficiency and very low noise levels
- Available in single-phase, 3-phase, and 200-480VAC
- Motor control unit and flow probe. Constant airflow through the unit
- Inlet air regulation valve for overpressure system machines (PPU only)
- Adjustable valve position (manual or remote) to set the required minimum overpressure
The benefits of an overpressure ventilation unit
- Easy-to-replace coarse pre-filter with pressure differential gauge
- Two-stage filters with KG12 modules, easily replaceable or refillable with chemical filter media
- Our filter media are designed to capture specific corrosive or otherwise harmful gases and offer the widest range on the market
- Easy-to-replace after-filter (ePM2.5) with pressure differential gauge
- Air vents mounted on both the inlet and outlet of the unit
- Adjustable air outlet vents to direct airflow in any desired direction
Where is the overpressure ventilation unit commonly used?
- Museums
- Archives
- Switch rooms in (petro)chemical plants
- Paper and pulp mills
- Control rooms
The contents of the molecular filters are tailored to the nature of the air contamination.
