Self-supporting Bag Filters

Materials for Self-supporting Bag Filters

A self-supporting synthetic bag filter is a pre-filter in an air supply system, mainly used in spray booths. Self-supporting bag filters are particularly used in situations with a high dust load or where there is significant turbulence in the airflow. All of these air filters are installed in the air handling unit with a solid plastic frame, and the medium of this air filter consists of synthetic filter fabric with a progressive structure.

Advantages of Self-supporting Bag Filters

Self-supporting synthetic bag filters offer several advantages:

  • Self-supporting welded filter bags
  • Very high dust holding capacity, resulting in a very long service life
  • Progressive construction of the filter medium
  • The air filter is 100% incinerable
  • Low energy and maintenance costs

Applications

  • Filters for general use in air handling units for industrial, production, and technical spaces with high dust loads and/or turbulent airflow
  • Pre-filters in air supply systems for spray booths

Different Filter Classes for Self-supporting Bag Filters

Our self-supporting synthetic air filters are available in various filter classes. From coarse-70% to 80%, and from ePM10-50% to ePM10-85%, allowing the bag filter to cover both coarse and fine filtration.
