With its compact size and small filter capacity, the Galileo L requires only a minimum amount of backwash water. In addition, the filters come with the filter rings of your choice, giving you the flexibility to customize the filter to your specific needs.

General specifications of the Air Assist automatic ring filter

The Galileo L Air Assist automatic ring filter consists of one or more filters with plastic rings, compressed on a variable holder. During the backwash cycle, the backwash mechanism unlocks the filter element. The specially developed grooved filter rings provide depth filtration, similar to a sand bed, and effectively capture organic dirt.

During flushing, the settled dirt on and in the element is sprayed away with a powerful stream of water and air from the inside. This achieves a complete cleaning with up to 80% less backwash water than with a standard flush using only water. The shape and size of the unit can be customized to fit any system.
