General specifications of Sand Filter

The sand and media filters are suitable for various applications and can operate under high pressure (up to 8 bar). The vertical sand filter has manholes for easy inspection and sand replacement. Without an internal pipe construction, the sand bed is fully utilized, preventing dirt trapping and enabling higher filtration speeds and capacities. Backwashing effectively flushes all dirt from the filter media.

The horizontal sand filter has two rows of filter heads on a low-lying central pipe. This results in a thick filter bed and a large surface area. The filter vessels have removable filter heads and an elevated filter bed for longer contact time with the medium, allowing for higher capacities and quality.

All models can be combined into units of various shapes and capacities using connectors and quick couplings of the same make, allowing for continuous service.
