What is an industrial air purifier, and how does it work?

Air purifiers, especially industrial air purifiers, are used in areas where people and machines are exposed to the dangers and harmful effects of (fine) dust.

IF14000 industrial air purifiers from Interfilter recirculate up to 14,000 m³/h of indoor air per unit, filtering both visible and invisible (fine) dust from the air. Recirculation saves on energy costs. The energy-efficient EC fans are continuously adjustable, allowing you to set the airflow as needed.

Interfilter air purifiers, type IF14000, are designed not only to protect the health and well-being of those present but also to minimize damage and unnecessary maintenance costs for machines. They extend the lifespan of machines and prevent unnecessary downtime.

Practical design of Industrial Air Purifiers

IF14000 industrial air purifiers are equipped with bag filters for maximum dust collection and can be installed vertically or, optionally, horizontally within the space. The filter fineness can be adjusted to achieve the desired air quality. If needed, bag filters equipped with activated carbon can be installed to capture gases and odors. For situations where high dust concentrations are generated, we offer the IF14000XL version of our industrial air purifiers. This version features extra-long bag filters, allowing the air purifiers to capture even more dust before the filters need to be replaced compared to the standard version.

Thanks to the downward or horizontal airflow, depending on how the IF14000(XL) air purifier is installed, the filters retain captured dust when the filters are removed or when the fans are stopped. With upward airflow, there is a real chance that dust may escape.

The bag filters are easily accessible through a removable inspection panel, allowing for quick filter changes and minimal unit downtime.

Various options for Industrial Air Purifiers

IF14000(XL) industrial air purifiers come standard with louvered grills for the discharge of purified air. Optionally, we offer the possibility to equip the units with round discharge openings. These openings allow for the connection of air distribution hoses or spiral ducts, enabling controlled distribution of purified air within the space. IF14000(XL) air purifiers are optionally available in any desired color, allowing them to match your company's branding. Standard units come in a metallic color.
