In the rapidly evolving world of sustainability and environmental awareness, Interfilter Group is committed to reducing our ecological footprint. An initiative that stands out in this endeavor is the transformation of our fleet to electric and hybrid company cars. With six charging stations in our parking lot and 12 electric cars, we are seriously working towards a sustainable future.
The importance of electric cars
Electric vehicles (EVs) have rapidly gained ground in the automotive industry in recent years, and not without reason. They offer numerous benefits, including significantly lower emissions of harmful substances, reduced dependence on fossil fuels, and lower long-term operating costs. For us, it is nothing less than a logical choice to make our fleet as green as possible.
Still growing
With 12 electric cars in our fleet, and more to come, we demonstrate our commitment to the environment and reducing our ecological footprint. These electric cars are used for various business purposes; from commuting to customer visits. This not only reduces CO2 emissions, but also has a positive impact on air quality in the Netherlands, something we, as experts in air filtration, consider very important.
Charging infrastructure
A key part of our fleet electrification process is the installation of six charging stations at our office building. These charging stations make it easy for our employees to charge their electric vehicles during working hours, reducing concerns about the range of these cars. This initiative is not only a sign of commitment to sustainability, but also support for employees transitioning to electric driving.
As much electric or hybrid as possible
At Interfilter, we love challenges and always strive for the best possible outcome. That is why we aim, where possible, to have as many hybrid or electric company cars in our fleet as possible. This is an important step in reducing our ecological footprint and minimizing the impact of our activities on the environment.
