In-house Production Department for Air Filters

In 2013, we entered into a joint venture with Deltrian International, which led to the establishment of Deltrian Netherlands alongside Interfilter Group within our premises. Thanks to this joint venture with Deltrian, we had the opportunity to start in-house production of filters in 2020 at our newly opened company location. 

What is manufactured in this production department? 

We produce a wide range of air filters in-house. Virtually all different classes and types of bag filters can be produced in-house. In addition to bag filters, we can also manufacture nearly all standard thicknesses of panel and compact filters at our facility. All these filters can be custom-made, ensuring that non-standard sizes are always available and quickly deliverable from our stock. 

Expansion of air filter production

At the end of this quarter, we will begin an expansion of the production department, enabling us to produce even more filters in-house for our customers. You can read more about this soon on our social channels and website.

How did the production department come about?

We had previously wanted to add an in-house production facility to our location, but we simply didn’t have the space. Moving to our new building provided the extra room to make this possible. In preparation for the move, we ensured everything was ready so we could start production immediately after relocating.

There is a demand for faster delivery times for (air) filters

In the filter industry, delivery times of 2-3 weeks are still common. While this may sometimes work for installers, it often causes scheduling issues. Additionally, people have become accustomed in their private lives to ordering something today and receiving it tomorrow.

We believe this level of service should also extend to the business environment, and having our own production facility makes this possible. Since we started production, we’ve noticed a significant increase in customer satisfaction regarding deliveries. Moreover, more companies are reaching out to us for faster delivery times.

Why are these filters produced in-house, and what is the benefit for the customer?

In an average order of air filters, 70-80% of the filters are standard sizes. These are always in ample stock and can often be delivered the next day. Previously, we had to disappoint customers when non-standard sizes were included in the order, as these had longer lead times, which slowed down delivery. Thanks to our in-house production department, this issue has been resolved, and we can immediately produce non-standard sizes if needed. We’ve already had numerous cases where a customer called with an urgent request, asking if the air filters could be picked up the same afternoon. Our production team quickly made the filters, the customer collected them in the afternoon, and they were installed at the end-user’s location on the same day.
