In today's rapidly digitalizing world, data centers have become the indispensable cornerstones of our modern society. But with the growing dependence on data centers also come new challenges, especially in the area of air quality and filtration. Clean air and energy consumption play a big role in data centers. Therefore, it is crucial to apply the right filtration within your organization. We have various filters for CRAC units and HVAC installations in our supply program which not only provide clean air, but also help keep energy consumption as low as possible for the most favorable PUE/TCO.
Why is air filtration important in data centers?
Filtration in data centers is essential for several reasons:
- Equipment reliability: Dust particles and contaminants in the air can damage the sensitive electronics and cooling systems of data centers, leading to malfunctions and downtime. Gaseous contaminants can cause corrosion on circuit boards, resulting in permanent damage to expensive and sensitive equipment.
- Energy savings: Clean air and optimized cooling contribute to a more efficient operation of data center equipment, resulting in lower energy costs. Filters with low energy consumption result in a more favorable PUE value.

Energy-efficient A+ air filters for data centers
Some of these filters are very energy efficient that they can carry the Eurovent energy label A+. For capturing corrosive gases, for example, we supply class ePM2.5-70% pocket filters equipped with carbon granules.
