What is dedusting?
Dedusting is the separation of dust particles from a gas or air stream. The separation of dust particles from a stream is usually applied for two reasons:
- Prevention of dust emissions to improve working conditions and/or protect the environment.
- Recovery of substances, such as pneumatic transport systems. These are systems in which air is used to transport, for example, pigment particles.
