De Boer Group

The most advanced sorting company within the Boer Group is Marbo Used Clothing located in Moerdijk. The core activities include purchasing, sorting, packaging, and exporting used textiles worldwide. As a TÜV-certified sorting company, it strictly follows the standards of the Certified Sorting Process Basis.

The company acquires used textiles by the kilo from various European collection companies, often in collaboration with charities. In the production warehouse, the textiles undergo an intensive and fine-mesh sorting system based on condition and material. The sorted products are packaged in plastic bags, bales, or pressed bags, depending on the quality, and then exported worldwide.

Collaboration between Interfilter Group and De Boer Group

In December, Marbo Used Clothing faced a leak in their compressed air piping, resulting in a forced production stop. Max Stapel, Technical Manager at the Boer Group, found that the existing galvanized steel piping network did not meet the required standards. As he was already familiar with the Transair piping system, he contacted Interfilter. After this contact, Interfilter immediately scheduled a visit and performed the necessary measurements for the Transair pipes. The installation of these pipes not only solved the leak but also resulted in significantly less air loss due to improved piping, resulting in significant energy savings on an annual basis for Marbo Used Clothing.

The piping systems are resistant to

  • Corrosion: an innovative corrosion-resistant coating protects against rust and decay, even in damp environments.
  • Oil: they maintain their effectiveness because the pipes are resistant to mineral, synthetic compressor oil, and aggressive compressor condensates.
  • Chemical resistance: against harmful conditions and aggressive chemicals in the air, thanks to a special material composition.
  • Shocks: the pipes are resistant to mechanical shocks and vibrations, in demanding industrial conditions the pipes retain their reliability.
  • Temperature: regardless of extreme temperatures, the pipes function without structural wear.
  • UV: a UV-resistant layer protects against the harmful effects of ultraviolet light.

Quick and easy installation

Transair piping utilizes quick connection technology where the aluminum pipes can be assembled with Transair couplings without welding. This means that the installation is much faster and simpler than traditional piping systems. The modular design of Transair couplings allows for adjustments and expansions of the compressed air piping system at any time, saving time and costs.

Special thanks to

We thank Max Stapel for the collaboration during this project. Thanks to the good relationship, we have been able to achieve an efficient result in collaboration using the Transair compressed air piping system. A good partnership once again shows that beautiful results can be achieved, in this case a wonderful optimization of compressed air piping through Transair.
