Application of Candle Filters with Activated Carbon

The IS candle filter is used for drinking water (type ISE is not suitable for this), alcoholic beverages, water-based and organic solvents (for removing odor and taste contamination), hydroponics, kidney dialysis, VOC and THM reduction, pre-filtration of RO, and more*.

Types of Candle Filters with Activated Carbon

• Type ISP (premium class) and ISS (standard class): polypropylene fleece and net around a core of coconut shell carbon.
• Type ISE: (economy class) polypropylene fleece and net around a core of activated bituminous carbon.
