Why is it necessary to prevent condensation?

The oil in the hydraulic unit, gearbox, and transformer expands during operation due to heat development and contracts again when the system comes to a stop and cools down. To compensate for the pressure difference, air is pressed or drawn into the system. If this air is not filtered, moisture can easily enter the system. It condenses inside and forms droplets in the hydraulic or transmission oil. The result is condensation water damage to the tank and contamination of the oil. The same happens in the storage tank, barrel, and IBC container when air flows in during emptying to equalize the pressure.

Solve the problem with an adsorber

By installing an adsorber, the air is dried before it enters the system. Valves at the bottom of the adsorber ensure proper ventilation of the application. Various connections and a wide range of accessories ensure that IF adsorbers are also suitable for hard-to-reach systems and systems under particularly harsh conditions (for example, offshore).

Where are adsorbers used?

Adsorbers ensure that no moisture enters the system and that oil mist and other contaminants do not enter the surrounding air. Adsorbers are used for hydraulic aggregates, gearboxes, storage tanks, barrels & IBCs, transformers, closed systems, mobile machines, and pipelines, among others.

Different types of separators
